    V3 M4 - Adding Tens to Tens, Ones to Ones 

    • Add or subtract a 1-digit to or from a 2-digit number 
    • Add two 2-digit numbers by combining tens and tens, ones and ones, composing a new ten if necessary 
    • Place a 2-digit number between the nearest two multiples of 10 and determine how far it is to the multiple of 10 on either side 

     

    V3 M5 - Adding Two-Digit Numbers on a Number Line 

    • Place a 2-digit number between the nearest two multiples of 10 and determine how far it is to the multiple of 10 on either side 
    • Locate, mark, and label numbers on a number line 
    • Add 2-digit numbers on a number line using the strategy of jumping forward by 10s and then 1s
