    IC HOPE 2014

    The IC HOPE team is honored to continue its partnership with the 7th grade Little Miracles team.  Come out and support the ice pop and bake sale to help the Lighthouse Committee of the Brielle PTO to assist local families in need.

    The IC HOPE team is proud to partner with American Home Medical and the Brielle Business Club.  "Twisted Chocolate" raised almost $500 which it will donate to the FoodBank in June 2014.

      Three of the IC HOPE team students thanked the Brielle Council for allowing us to use the electronic sign to announce events and updated our accomplishments to date!

    Thanks to George Wall Lincoln Mercury for loaning us a truck to deliver food to the FoodBank on October 30:

    The IC HOPE 2014 team has joined the Students Change Hunger Campaign to benefit the FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties.

    {Note:the competition is labeled 2013; we refer to IC HOPE 2014 because the efforts of the Class of 2014 will continue after the competition concludes.}

    The IC HOPE 2014 team has partnered with the BES Peer Leaders and the BES Little Miracles team to help the FoodBank.

    The IC HOPE 2013 and 2014 teams are proud to announce their partnership with the Brielle Library and the Borough of Brielle.    The Borough will post our announcements on the electronic sign.

    For the third year in a row,  we have partnered with Rutgers University/RAH to promote hunger awareness and prevention in New Jersey.  The RAH team visited Brielle's 8th grade to present workshops on nutrition and the problem of hunger in New Jersey.

    Kristina Amaral, president of SORAH (Student Organization/Rutgers Against Hunger), explained that her interest in helping others began when her dad encouraged her to save her spare change and use it to help others.

    The IC HOPE team planned the September 2013 workshops and welcomed the Rutgers RAH team of officials and professors to BES.
