TECHNOLOGY

Keeping in mind that technology is integrated into all aspects of Brielle Elementary School curricula, the K-8 Technology curriculum targets 21st-century technology readiness through the New Jersey Student Learning Standards. Students become empowered with the ability to use technology to interact with new information in order to problem solve and communicate. Digital citizenship is fostered as students understand how technology impacts interactions and real-world problems on a local and global scale.

STEM (K-4)

The STEM curriculum at Brielle Elementary School is an extension of core classroom subjects. The curriculum is based on the NGSS: Next Generation Science Standards and the New Jersey Standard 9 21st Century Life Skills Standards. Throughout the K-4 curriculum, students are enriched with various hands-on learning opportunities, understand and implement the Engineering Design Process, and learn the true value of collaboration and critical thinking skills to be successful in our ever changing, technological world.
