    Field Days

Field Days are held at the end of May or beginning of June for grades K-5. All of the students rotate through nine events with water breaks  in between.  The objective of field day is to have the students work cooperatively and enjoy the day.  This popular activity is successful due to our enthusiastic students and our peer leaders.

  • Hoop Shoot

The Elks Club sponsors a foul shooting contest every year for students ages 8-13. Each school conducts their own contest and then sends the winners to represent their school. The winners compete on progressively more difficult levels until a national champion is crowned.  The contest is usually held the first Saturday of December, at Manasquan Elementary School.

Hoops for Heart and Jump Rope for Heart
The school nurse and the Health and Physical Education Department will be joining forces to teach our students about the harmful effects of heart disease. We will use the mediums of rope jumping and basketball to help explain the benefits of exercise while raising money for a good cause. We look forward to having all of our students participate in these fun activities while learning about improving their health.
