NJ Schools Ranking

March 18, 2019

Dear Board Members, Staff, Parents, and Community Members,

It is with a deep sense of pride that I share the following information with you about Brielle Elementary School.  On March 12, 2019 an article was published on NJ.Com about how New Jersey Schools fared in their student assessments and how we ranked against other schools throughout the state of New Jersey.

Article on NJ.Com - LINK: https://www.nj.com/education/2019/03/nj-just-graded-its-public-schools-from-0-100-heres-how-every-school-scored.html

N.J. just graded its public schools from 0-100. Here’s how every school scored.

Now I would like to share with you how Brielle Elementary ranked among not only the county, but the entire state.

For your convenience the link below will reflect our ranking by both the Summative Rating and the Summative Score.

We ranked #1 against our surrounding school districts in both the Summative Rating and Summative Score.  County Wide we ranked 8th for the Summative Rating and 10th for the Summative Score out of 144 Monmouth County schools.  State-Wide we ranked 88th for Summative Rating and 102nd out of 2,088 schools!

The detailed information for each parameter can be found by clicking the link below:

I am sure that you share my excitement about this wonderful news!  If you look at these reports you’ll see that we have either met or exceeded our goals and standards in both ELA and Mathematics.

I would be remiss if I did not recognize that this would not be possible without the exemplary efforts of our staff, whose dedication and commitment to our children has proven to be the successful formula that has allowed us to achieve this ranking.

Keeping Children First,

Christine Carlson
