The Mental Health Association in New Jersey is a statewide non-profit organization that strives for children and adults to achieve victory over mental health and substance use disorders through advocacy, education, training, and services. Additionally, here is a Parent Booklet from the Mental Health Association of Monmouth County.
ImpactParents provides affordable behavior management training (Behavior Therapy) for parents and educators worldwide, online and on the phone. It is a first-line recommended treatment for kids with ADHD and related challenges of Executive Function.
2NDFLOOR is a confidential and anonymous helpline for New Jersey's youth and young adults. We are here to help you find solutions to the problems that you face at home, at school or at play. Ages 10-24.
The Lifeline provides 24/7, free and confidential support for people in distress, prevention and crisis resources for you or your loved ones, and best practices for professionals. Linked here are current NJ statistics related to this topic. There is a specific NJ Hopeline as well. The Trevor Project is an additional resource for supporting LGBTQIA+ youth who are experiencing suicial ideation.
